Want the hottest tips for the bridal world in 2015? What's in, what’s out and what is staying with us for yet another year? Here at Romantica HQ we have some key trends which you simply have to keep in mind!

Modern Minimalism
Every girl has a special place in her heart for sparkly things and crystals and beading has been seen on bridal dresses for yonks but for 2015 we are seeing dresses becoming way more fuss free with clean lines and minimal detail.

Take Romantica design, Olive. This gorgeous number has next to no beading, no motifs and get this – no lace! These new designs are all about the tailoring and creating a far more chic look for a bride. Satin is also a key material for this look. Welcome back!

Add some colour
Ok, we are not necessarily saying you have to wear a scarlet wedding dress or something with a hint of tangerine but pastel shades have been hot for 2015. Pastels such as blush, mint and silver blue have been seen everywhere as designers are choosing to stray for a traditional ivory or white gown.

Romantica Bridal design, Seattle, is a great example which shows that you can still have some ivory but a hint of colour is all it takes to change your bridal look completely. Coloured wedding dresses do not have to be in your face but they are a great alternative if you want to be a little different. Celebs, such as Gwen Stefani and Jessica Beale, have both carried off a coloured dress so perfectly and both in their own way. Don't feel forced into a white or ivory dress when 2015 is all about being a little different.

Tiers!
Modern day weddings generally keep tiers on the cake and stay well away from the dress BUT 2015 sees the come back of cascading tiers. Tiers add subtle volume and movement to a design but often are seen as a bit old school and ignored by many.

Take a look at Romantica bridal style, Fenella. The gorgeous, fitted bodice is complimented wonderfully by flowing tiers of organza which add a much softer feel to the design and create a show stopping silhouette. Trust us on this one!

It's an illusion
Illusion detailing was hot in 2014 and guess what? It is still super hot in 2015. This is a great way to show a little skin and still remain modest. Illusion necklines even remove the need for necklaces as they provide a level of bling and detail while tying in with your dress perfectly.

Romantica bridal design, Zazou, not only includes illusion detailing across the neckline but also includes continued detailing down the sleeves. This clever design idea allows a little arm coverage without being too stifled by a bolero jacket.

Off the shoulder
Bored of sweetheart, strapless and other generic necklines? Well 2015 is your year with off the shoulder necklines taking the fore for 2015. This romantic shape is so classic and it is so dreamy to have them back once again.

Take Romantica bridal design, Janet. This wonderfully feminine design frames the décolletage so perfectly and the hint of lace creates a softer and graceful look which keeps things modest but not prudish in any way. You can really feel like a princess with this 2015 hot trend.
